I love working on story telling goals with my students! I came up with this activity, which will also work great for back to school, that will help you work on expressive language skills, articulation, fluency, and voice.
Ten roll-a-story cards for your students to use during their writing lessons. Roll a dice 3 times to get a character, setting and problem.
Great for:
Warming up during a circle time.
Warming up during one to one sessions.
Using imagination to tell a story.
Working out how to solve a problem.
Understanding emotions and what would create that emotion.
Speaking, listening and turn taking.
